If blind people wear dark glasses, why don deaf people wear earmuffs? –?

Because people wouldn’t be disturbed by their ears just hanging there, unlike people who may be a bit shaken by blind people’s eyes that can’t focus on anything.

It’s too hot in the summer to wear earmuffs and in the winter it wouldn’t prove anything as non deaf people are wearing them too.

A lot of low vision/legally blind people wear dark glasses because it actually helps them see better – their eyes are too weak to handle bright lights and it just washes out everything in their field of vision, thereby blinding them. Think of yourself on a super bright day without sunglasses, except worse. On the other hand, most deaf people do not have the problem of their ears not being able to handle the vast quantity of sound pouring in on them, it is simply not analogous.

Blind people have bizarre looking eyes so they cover them with glasses, but deaf people don’t have weird ears. That would be funny if they did though!
