If black holes pull objects in like a drain.. whats on the other side?
See my answer to the same question. http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/1508781 But they don’t pull things in like a drain really, it’s the same mechanism as Stars pull things in, just with a larger mass in a much more confined radius (within the event horizon). No one knows what happens inside a black hole as it’s surrounded by an event horizon that stops any information about the interior leaving. This is a current hot topic in astrophysics as people theorise what actually occurs inside this event horizon, but really we can never know as any probe sent into a black hole could never send information out as even EM waves can’t escape and the probe would need to withstand immense tidal forces that want to rip it apart (this can be reduced by investigating smaller massed black holes).
