Despite our excellent, dedicated, and hard-working employees who have expertise and effectiveness in this area, the work is very transactional. The new vision for Office of the President and Human Resources and Benefits is that we be less transactional and focus on core needs and services that are clearly linked to the mission of the University. That is why we need to look at our ability to provide these services versus the cost and effectiveness of a third party providing these services.
