Go To Top 25Q – General Church apportionment hasn’t been a choice in the past while some items in the conference benevolences have – will the local church now be able to choose not to support even the General Church items? A – So the answer to your question is Yes – the General Church FairShare asking will be a choice item. For the last 15 years the Conference budget has been made up of 15 individual funds. In the last 7 years, those 15 items have been broken into priority categories A, B, and C. Every church as had the opportunity to accept one or all of these funds. In the past year approximately 150 churches have not chosen to support all 15 funds.
