If any individual is already working for a contractor, how are they affected if work gets contracted out or certain positions get contracted out?
If the functions those individuals are performing are included in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), the impact on them will depend on the outcome of the CA study. If it is a contractor win, the CA contractor may or may not pick up those contractor employees currently performing the job. It would be that contractor’s decision as to whether he would hire the personnel from the previous contract. If it is a government win and the work stays in-house, it will depend on how the work is bid in the Most Effective/Efficient Organization (MEO) (e.g., bring the function in-house, use existing contractor, or use a new contractor).
