11/2/2005 The duration is for all procedures (together) that are done through the same incision. If the hysterectomy takes 90 minutes and the appendectomy takes 20 minutes, then the duration for the hysterectomy is 1 hour 50 minutes and the duration for the appendectomy is 1 hour 50 minutes.
