if he hadn’t acted on his “nightmare”, then yes, i believe she would’ve lived…he let the fear of what the future was telling him would happen make it happen…instead of continuing as normal, he tried to prevent the future and in a way, made it happen…she died of a broken heart but he didn’t become darth vader until after she died…
