If an RTO wants to deliver units from another Training Package that are counted as electives towards the achievement of a qualification, must those units be listed on the scope of registration?
Yes. Units from other Training Packages that are delivered as electives for a qualification that an RTO delivers need to be identified in the delivery and assessment strategy and listed in the application when applying to add the qualification to the scope of registration. These units may be audited to determine compliance with the AQTF Standards and training package requirements. If the units from another training package are listed in the elective choices within the qualifications they do not have to be listed separately in the application. They do however need to be identified in the learning and assessment strategy.
