No, do not retire assets identified on a PPIMS TC 24. These are usually transfers. The decentralized PPIMS system does not provide for transfer of assets. Assets are not removed from DELPHI unless they are disposed of by the FAA. Search DELPHI for an existing asset by serial number and add at zero cost if no asset exists. The original organization checks the asset “Not In Use” box. The gaining organization transfers the asset to the new organization and unchecks the “Not in Use” box once it is received.
