If an IOO sends a provider to MeHI, does the IOO get credit for them? What documentation is being used to help providers choose an IOO and EHR?
Providers independently enroll in the REC and independently select and contract with an IOO. Should an IOO bring a provider to the REC, it would be likely that the provider would end up contracting with that IOO. However, it is the decision of the provider to do so. The contracted IOOs of providers that qualify for Direct Assistance as PPCPs will receive Direct Assistance payments. We give REC members the information vendors provided during the qualification process, including their pricing summaries.
