If an individual sits on a committee or council that deals with relevant issues, the member firm may decide that the time is applicable to the CE Compliance component. The time cannot be applied towards the Professional Development component. The onus is on the individual Approved Person to provide sufficient documentation to enable the member firm to validate lIIROC’s qualification for CE.
