Yes. An employee who is serving an initial probationary or trial period or an inservice probationary period (i.e., supervisory probationary period) upon conversion to an NSPS position will complete the time remaining toward completion of the NSPS probationary period after conversion. Time served in the non-NSPS position will count toward the 1-year requirement.
