If an applicant has previously participated in a REMS grant project and is applying for the EMHE grant competition, how closely should the process be followed for EMHE as for REMS?
Some elements of the EMHE Grant are very similar to the K-12 Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) grant, however their absolute priorities are quite different.. The EMHE grant program aims to integrate campus-wide activities, whereas the K-12 program focuses efforts individually, building by building, within the district. Although they appear similar, they are two completely different competitions and should be approached as such; the rules under the EMHE grant should be adhered to and not compared with the rules and requirements of the REMS grant.
