Some elements of the EMHE Grant are very similar to the K-12 Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) grant, however their absolute priorities are quite different.. The EMHE grant program aims to integrate campus-wide activities, whereas the K-12 program focuses efforts individually, building by building, within the district. Although they appear similar, they are two completely different competitions and should be approached as such; the rules under the EMHE grant should be adhered to and not compared with the rules and requirements of the REMS grant.
