If an airsoft guns is slow and unpowerful…can i change the battery-operated to a larger voltage for faster and harder shooting?
Batteries don’t particularly effect the ‘power’ of an airsoft gun. Batteries own 2 ratings, their voltage (V) and their milliamp hours (mAh). The V is the ‘power’ of the battery, and a superior voltage battery will turn your gun’s motor faster. This will furnish you a higher rate of fire. The mAh is a means of the amount of storage in the mobile. The higher the mAh the longer the battery-operated will run your gun between charges (though it will take longer to charge as it stores more power). The mAh have no particular effect on the power of your gun. Using a difficult V battery will increase the wear on your gun’s gearbox as it’s doing more work over a shorter space of time. If the gears be good for (NOTE: the following numbers come rotten the top of my head!) 10,000 rounds, they’ll bring back through that many rounds near an 8.4V or a 9.6V, but the higher rate of fire of the 9.6V gun will anticipate that you get through those 10,000 rounds much sooner. To gain a longer gearbox life w
