A. When requesting in-bond authorization in Air AMS, an Air AMS participant must indicate the air carrier code of an onward air carrier or the bonded carrier identification number. Such identification number must be in one of the following formats (hyphen included): NN-NNNNNNNAA or NN-NNNNNNNNN (IRS #) NNN-NN-NNNN (Social Security Number) or NNNNNN-NNNNN (CBP Assigned).
