Generally, yes. Multimedia equipment is considered EIT and must meet the Access Board standards. If the equipment was purchased after June 25, 2001, and an exception does not apply, the action is subject to the enforcement provisions of section 508(f). Multimedia productions, must also meet the applicable Access Board standards irrespective of the equipment used to develop them, and are subject to the same enforcement provisions as multimedia equipment.
