If a visitor doesn buy anything at first, but returns later and makes a purchase, will the referring affiliate still earn a commission?
Yes! AssocTRAC uses “cookie” tracking technology to identify the visitors who are referred by your affiliates. When someone clicks through from an affiliate’s site to your site, AssocTRAC automatically sends a “cookie” to their computer. If they return the next day — or six months from now — AssocTRAC will recognize the cookie, and will credit the appropriate affiliate with the sale.
