This comment is valid for all the questions related to the section “rate and review”. —- A good first step would be to begin rating albums and creating a catalog of your music. This allows the RYM server (as well as other users) to have a good understanding of the type of music you like. To rate music, simply search for an artist using the search box at the top of the page. Then once you’ve found the artist you’re looking for, click the “Rate” button to rate the album. When you rate an album, you can also tell RYM whether or not you own it; therefore, you can create a list of albums you own while you’re rating music. It’s recommended that you rate a minimum of 10 albums before trying to use any of the other features of RYM.
