If a student has chosen to restrict degree information in Campus Connection, will potential employers be able to see that they have graduated?
Third parties are required to go through the National Student Clearinghouse for degree verification. If a student has requested to restrict degree information, the Clearinghouse will require the student’s signature each time this information is requested. The FERPA restriction in effect at the time of degree conferral remains on the student’s Clearinghouse record.
