If a spouse selects Cross-Reference family plan and sees associated deductions with that plan, will the other spouse see the same deductions when they enroll?
Only one spouse will need to enroll in ESS when selecting a Cross Reference plan. The Cross Referenced plan selected will update the other spouse’s enrollment information approximately 1-2 days after an update of the data has occurred. The spouse with the earliest hire date will be the primary plan holder and have a “Prime” plan. The other spouse will be the secondary plan holder and have a “Sec” plan.
