The assessment is not put on hold for a TNI response which could take months. Interpretation requests to TNI are not intended to be used for mediation purposes. The interpretation by the Accrediting Body (AB) will stand and the audit is final. If an interpretation comes down later, then the AB will consider that for future assessments.
