If a radiostation has more than one source available, which one will My Radio 2 use?
Often it is the case that a radiostation has several sources available to you. It could be that the station streams on the internet with several different streams at different bitrates, on more than one satellite etc. If My Radio 2 finds that there is more than one source available to you, the information about audio quality on the different sources will be retrieved. The different sample rates, audio codecs and bit rates for each source will be analyzed and the sources will be sorted by the audio quality. My Radio 2 automatically uses the source resulting in the best audio quality possible. This analysis happens within fractions of a second and doesn’t cause any noticeable delay in the channel switching time. So in general you should add as many sources as possible, if you find than a radiostation has more sources than listed.
