If a Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) is required, does the frequency of meetings of the RSC have to be established? ?
The regulations require certain licensees to have radiation safety committees. However, the regulations do not include specific requirements for the frequency of RSC meetings. Refer to Supplementary Information, Section III, Summary of Public Comments and Responses to Comments for 35.24, as published in the Federal Register on April 24, 2002.
