If the temperature of such specimen is out of the normal range, the trained collector will immediately initiate another collection under direct observation; a notation is made on the chain-of-custody form and both specimens are shipped to the testing lab. The offer of employment is withdrawn if the result is confirmed positive for one or more of the drugs or drug metabolites prohibited by DOTD policy.
