If a person has an associate’s degree, are his/her general education requirements met by the prior coursework?

The Records office at C.O.D. evaluates all prior college coursework and determines if general education requirements are met. Whether or not all general education requirements are met by a previously awarded associate’s degree will depend on several factors, including the type of degree earned (A.A., A.S., A.A.S., A.G.S.), the school from which the degree was awarded, and when the degree was earned. Please refer to the Application Information for instructions regarding sending transcripts to the C.O.D. Records office for evaluation.
