If a fresh application for Legal Aid is required in any of the above scenarios, are fresh financial forms also required?
NO, unless the applicant`s means have altered significantly (since the initial application) that may render him / her ineligible for entitlement to Legal Aid. The exception is:- The scenario outlined at 9(A) above;- For example judicial separation proceedings issued on foot of the certificate and the new Solicitor wishes to pursue ancillary relief on foot of a decree nisi (divorce proceedings); fresh financial forms will be required with the new application.
