If a filtering system fails in-flight suddenly, will the GEM 2000 cause a crash?
No.The Rx filtering system has several ceramic chips and the simultaneous destruction of them all is usually the result of severe crashes not in-flight maneuvers. Winning the Mega Lottery is more likely than the in-flight complete destruction of an Rx filtering system. Less than a total filter system failure won’t noticeably affect flight and landing.
