Initial applications for disaster assistance should go to FEMA and SBA. IDED can assist with completing the applications.IDED’s board has not yet considered this question and can only do so on a case by case basis. Assessment of local damages and communications with insurance and Federal assistance officials must be completed prior to the state providing any assistance. IDED’s assistance potential is currently limited and will be determined in the near future.
