If a customer purchases the Exchange Enterprise CAL do they get unlimited service updates for Forefront Security for Exchange and/or Exchange Hosted Filtering (EHF)?
A. Services like EHF and Forefront for Security require ongoing updates to remain beneficial. Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam (AV/AS) solutions are typically sold as an annual service. The ongoing annual cost of the Enterprise CAL includes the AV/AS service updates as well as the typical Software Assurance that provides the same benefits that come with our software offerings.
