If a child who is receiving CMH waiver services moves to a PMIC, how do they get back on the waiting list so they can resume waiver services after PMIC placement?
After 60 days in PMIC, the child’s waiver slot will be closed. The parent can request waiver services again by contacting a DHS Income Maintenance Worker and requesting the child be placed on the waiting list. A new application is not necessary as the child remains Medicaid eligible via PMIC service.
