If a CDT is converted to a PROS, will the CSP payments attached to the Medicaid billing (from the CDT) be eliminated or will it be attached to the PROS billing in some manner?
If the CSP funding is not from a PROS targeted program, it is likely that the CSP Medicaid rate will be attached to the clinic . If the CSP Medicaid funding is from a PROS targeted program, then as with the CDT funding it will be used in the conversion. If there is a situation where a provider has a CDT that is converting to PROS, has no other outpatient program and has a CSP add on, and the CSP add-on includes some non-PROS programs, we will preserve this non-PROS component through an add-on to the PROS monthly case payment CRS fee.
