I’d really like to be able to create longer sustains in Sequer. How do I do that?
On the xl duration (coloring in the first full band of color under the note), notes can last for between half a bar and three quarters of a bar, depending on the timbre. Always use the 16th note tempo setting to max out the note lengths. In our next version of the software, we will be introducing a feature that will allow you to create sustains that go on for a couple of bars. In the meantime, use soft sounds in a wash to create the illusion of a longer sustain, and/or drop the tempo down.
