Id like to use Mailsmith 2.0, but I still boot into Mac OS 9 once in a while. Can I share a mail store between Mailsmith 1.5 and 2.0?
Mailsmith 2.0 mail stores are incompatible with older versions of Mailsmith, so you cannot share a mail store between 1.5 and 2.0. If you wish, you can set up an installation of 1.5 with a Mailsmith User Data in the same folder as the application for use on Mac OS 9, but doing so can complicate your life as you try to keep the two mail stores in sync. For this reason, we recommend that you adopt Mailsmith 2.0 as your main email client.
