Depending on your current level of subject knowledge there are short courses (2 weeks in August prior to the PGCE course starting in September) or a longer enhancement course (a 6 month intensive full-time course). If you need to do a SKE your PGCE offer will be conditional on successful completion of the SKE. You can apply for one of these courses after receiving an offer for a place on the PGCE course. More information can be found at the TDA.
