Id like to freeze my embryos for future use. Whats involved?
During IVF treatment, fertility drugs are used to stimulate the ovaries to produce more eggs than usual. These are then fertilised with your partner’s, or a donor’s, sperm to create embryos. Because you can only have two or three embryos transferred to your womb each time, some people choose to freeze ‘extra’ embryos to use in later treatment cycles.
