Id like to cross deck off of GW and onto KITTY HAWK; what do I need to know?
All requests to cross deck to the KHK will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Normally cross decking is utilized for last resort manning deficiencies, however due to the nature of our homeport change CNAF will be looking at each request. MILPERSMAN Article 1306-101 is the reference. Please contact your Departmental CC to get your record screened to see if you meet the criteria to submit a 1306 to your detailer. Be advised that the following are considered during the Availability/Cross Deck slate generation: NECs required PRD/PST remaining Female rack availability and female CPO to female blue shirt ratio Dual Military Couples and Single Parent status EFM AIP recipients Citizenship (Some instances) Once the individuals identified to cross deck (and those identified to remain on board) have been agreed upon by both Commanding Officers, ISIC, and TYCOM, NPC will conduct a Change of Homeport Conference.
