icWord® doesn open my MS Word file. What should I do?
On OS 9 it is possible that icWord® needs more memory, so try allocating more memory to the program. To do so see Mac OS: Assigning more memory to an application program. If this doesn’t work or if you are working on Mac OS X, send the original Word file to support@panergy-software.com. We will try to get that file opened for you! What is the difference between the different file formats icWord® supports in ‘save as’ feature? RTF (Rich Text Format): This saves the text in a format that preserves all the text attributes (e.g. font, line spacing, styles, tabs, etc.) as well as the pictures. Use it for exporting text to other word processing programs. All versions of Microsoft Word understand RTF files so this is a good format to use when you want to send a document to Word users. Text document: This is Macintosh text, used in Simple Text and other programs. Styling information is not included.
