I would like to use my StreetPilot 2610/2650 as a handheld. Is there a battery compartment in the unit or can I purchase a battery pack?

A. While the StreetPilot 2610/2650 is able to be plugged into cigarette lighter adapters in most cars and motorcycles, the unit does not have a battery compartment, and Garmin does not manufacture a remote battery pack.
