King and queen mattresses can be hinged. Call your local retailer for details and pricing. King and split queen boxsprings come in two pieces therefore easier to maneuver in narrow spaces. I was shopping for a new mattress set and it seems so much higher than my set. Do I have any height options? Lo-profile boxsprings are available and 5 inches in height. Standard boxsprings measure 8″ and high profile measure 9″. In addition, most retailers offer a lo-profile bed frame as well.
