First, define the header you want and publish it as a portlet. You can use a dynamic page, a portal page, or a custom portlet to create the header. Include the header portlet at the top of each portal page, instead of using the portal banner. For content areas, edit the Content Area Page, located in the Content Area properties. By default, the Content Area page contains a placeholder for the Nav Bar and Folder, but you can add any other portlets. To have the content area page look like any other portal page, add your header portlet on top of the Nav Bar and folder. (You might have to delete and re-add the Nav Bar and folder portlets.) Note that there are currently some limitations in the Content Area page. For example, they don’t use styles (you have to hard code all style elements in your header portlet), and they don’t allow banners, customization, tabs, or caching. These limitations are to be removed in a future release.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
