I would like to delete the System Annoucement Channel and/or the Personal Announcement Channel on the MyUA Tab. How can I do this?
All channels in the portal can be deleted except these two announcement channels. Likewise, all tabs in MyUA can be deleted except the MyUA Tab – because the channels appear there. The MyUA Coordinating Team (which is made up of representatives from UAA, UAF, UAS and Statewide) made this policy because the members felt it was important that all users have the Announcements. Users can delete the announcements themselves (just not the channel itself).
