I would like to accept the admission decision, but I want to attend in a future semester. What are the steps to defer admission?
• Timeline • Admission applications submitted to the college will be considered for up to one year. This means if you apply in the fall, your application will remain active fall and spring. If you wish to be considered for the following fall you will need to reapply. • Please note that the timeline is based on application submission term. • How to defer • All international applicants • To defer your application to the next semester, please submit the update information listed below before the application deadline you wish to be considered for. • Update form: http://www.uh.edu/admissions/international/admissions-forms/index.php • Update fee: $75 (to University of Houston; required by the Office of Admissions) • Please submit materials to: University of Houston College of Technology Attn: Graduate Advisor 108 Technology 1 Bldg. Houston, TX 77204-4021 • All other applicants • Identify your interest in deferring your admission decision to the graduate advisor.
