u may not qualify for tax credits as u work less than 16 hrs but google tax credits and check on the inland revenue website. theres a calculator there under “do i qualify” u put in yr details and it tells u if ur eligible for tax credits. if u have no partner or children u need to be 25+ to qualify notwithstanding how many hrs u work. if u dont qualify then u may be entitled to income support as this helps people on low income who work less than 16 hrs. u would need to contact yr local job centre plus. u could also be eligible for council tax benefit (not housing as u live with parents) so worth checking this with yr local council.
