In order to use the Livescan service, you must first be authorized by the State Department of Justice. You can obtain the forms needed to start the authorization process at the State Attorney Generals Office Fingerprinting web site at http://caag.state.ca.us/fingerprints/index.htm and select & download “Applicant Live Scan Information (PDF)”. This packet includes all the forms and information necessary for the authorization process.
