A. While some agencies have evening and/or weekend hours, these tend to be limited. The field placement is not about completing hours but about having a solid educational experience. For example, being at a residential setting on weekends when very little is happening does not meet the definition of an educational experience. The student must be present at a time when meetings and activities are happening and staff including the MSW field instructor, are present.
