I wonder why that page of Payflow Link Setup instructions isn included with the users manual, or in the How-to guide for setting up payment processing?
Another little tidbit that I found out: in the MivaMerchant admin for setting up Payflow Link, the choices for “Authorize only” and “Authorize with Capture” are reversed. If you want the Authorize with Capture, you have to click on the Authorize Only radio button. I found that out from the tech person at Payflow. I mentioned it to the next tech I spoke to at Miva, and they said a correction would probably be in the next version of Miva Merchant. Seems like these sorts of things, like the reversed radio buttons should be somewhere accessible, like a FAQ or Troubleshooting list.
