An applicant for the student-at-large and certificate programs is considered a nondegree-seeking applicant. Nondegree-seeking students are ineligible for Federal loans and work-study, but may apply for an Alternative Loan to cover the costs of their tuition and fees. They are not eligible for an allowance to cover living expenses. Approval of the Alternative Loan is based on credit worthiness. Please see the Graduate Guide to Student Loans for lender options and terms.
