I went to WebReg and tried to enroll in a CAT 124 course, but it wouldn let me enroll. Why?

Students cannot enroll in CAT 124 courses without authorization from Sixth College. CAT 124 courses are not offered during the summer. Please be sure that you submitted a Practicum Proposal for a CAT 124 course by Friday of Week 8 the quarter before you plan on taking the course. If you have not, please do so in order to be considered for a CAT 124 course. CAT 124 professors use the Practicum Proposals to choose who they want in their course. If you have submitted a Practicum Proposal on time for a CAT 124 course, please check the Virtual Advising Center around Week 10 to see if your proposal has been approved or denied. Since CAT 124 professors take time to choose who they want in their course, you should receive a response by Week 10 on your proposal. If your proposal was denied, you will not be authorized for the course and cannot enroll via WebReg. Instructions will be attached on how to propose another course.
