I was receiving special education services in high school and had an IEP. Can I use the IEP or my 504 Plan as documentation?
Although the Individualized Education Plan and/or the 504 plan can provide valuable information, it cannot be the primary documentation source (see Documentation Requirements). Additional documentation must be supplied from a qualified professional who is licensed or certified to diagnose the disability in question.
