In MapInfo, register the image with a “projection” of WGS84 latitude/longitude. Define a special Lambert projection with its central meridian at the center of the 7&frac12′ quad and standard parallels located a third of the way up from the bottom and a third of the way down from the top. Use the command sequence Raster > Table > Maintenance to change from the WGS84 to this new projection. Now run RasTools to produce the orthoimage. The result will be an image that you can use with your 7&frac12′ quad.
